Precision Infrared Thermometer Fluke 572
The Fluke 572 precision infrared (IR) thermometer measures surface temperatures to locate lubrication problems, overloads, short-circuits, or misaligned and overheated equipment. The thermometer has a -25 to +1,600 degrees F/-30 to +900 degrees C measuring range. The extra-bright 635nm laser clearly highlights the targeted area. The coaxial three-dot laser sighting system highlights the true diameter of measurement spots at all distances (90% energy). Enhanced optics have a D:S (distance-to-spot) ratio up to 60:1 and a minimum measurement diameter of 0.76"/19 mm at a standard focus distance of 3.8'/1.15 m, for measuring small diameter objects at a distance. The 50:1 D:S ratio has a minimum measurement diameter of 0.25"/6 mm at a close focus of 0.98'/0.3 m for specialized applications. Emissivity can be adjusted in 0.01 increments for more accurate measurements. The backlit display eases reading in poorly lit areas. The thermometer automatically calculates minimum and maximum measurements, and a user-settable high temperature alarm provides instant audible and visual notification. The last ten temperature readings can be displayed on a bar graph for reference. The pistol-grip handle eases targeting over long distances and a 1/4"-20 UNC (unified coarse) tripod mount stabilizes the thermometer for longer measurements. The thermometer is powered by two AA alkaline batteries (included) and includes a hard-sided carrying case and instructions.
